2. Real Life Case Study
Charles Vickery’s self-built home is solely run on electricity – there is no mains gas. It features solar panels on the south-east and south-west facing roof elevations which produce over 60 kwh (units) of electricity on a good day and means that the house is capable of being self-sufficient between March and October.

Charles will give insight into his experience and will be joined by representatives of heat and energy related companies who he worked with during the project.

Join a unique guided tour of the Renovation House, where we’ll look at the various heating and energy producing technologies that have been installed, how they talk to each-other and how a holistic approach can deliver and extremely energy efficient home.
